The vision of Cheshire Peaks & Plains is:
“A team working with imagination and energy to create vibrant communities”
We see tenants and residents as key members of that team. We want to make involvement as easy and as varied as we can so that we can work in partnership on the decisions that affect your homes and services. We believe that by making tenant involvement easier it will help us to continuously improve our services to meet your requirements and expectations.
One of the ways we do business is that everything we do is about our customers. So we have worked with tenant representatives from all over the Borough who have strong links with their local communities and have conducted interviews with a wide range of people to make sure that this agreement reflects your views and preferences for involvement. It represents a commitment for how the Trust will engage with you and the opportunities open to you. We have called it “Stepping Up” because we have a staircase of ways for you to get involved. You may go up and down the staircase of involvement to reach a level at which you feel comfortable.
Stepping Up is a summary of proposals contained within the Trust’s Resident Involvement Implementation Plan. This will be constantly reviewed as the Trust develops and we welcome your ideas so that tenant involvement remains relevant to you.
Our hope is that you will find a way of getting involved that suits you. If you would like to know more about ways to get involved, please contact our Community Initiatives Team on 0800 012 1311.
