Stepping Up: An Agreement for Resident Involvement

Cheshire Peaks & Plains Housing Trust - Stepping Up

“A team working with imagination and energy to create vibrant communities”

We see residents as key members of our team.  We want to make involvement as easy and as varied as we can so that we can work in partnership on the decisions that affect your homes and services. We believe that by making resident involvement easier it will help us to continuously improve our services to meet your requirements and expectations.

One of the ways we do business is that everything we do is about our customers.  So we have worked with resident representatives from all over the area who have strong links with their local communities.  We have also conducted interviews with a wide range of people to make sure that this agreement reflects your views and preferences for involvement.  It represents a commitment for how the Trust will engage with you and the opportunities open to you.  We have called it “Stepping Up” because we have a staircase of ways for you to get involved. You may go up and down the staircase of involvement to reach a level at which you feel comfortable.

Stepping Up is a summary of proposals contained within the Trust’s Resident Involvement Implementation Plan.  This will be constantly reviewed as the Trust develops and we welcome your ideas so that resident involvement remains relevant to you.

Our hope is that you will find a way of getting involved that suits you. If you would like to know more about ways to get involved, you should contact us directly on Freephone 0800 012 1311 (it may be cheaper to call 0330 440 9707 from a mobile), email trust@cppht.com or write to Cheshire Peaks & Plains Housing Trust, Ropewalks, Newton Street, Macclesfield, SK11 6QJ
