Unfortunately in any one year we have a limited number of properties available to let, which means that we are only able to assist people who have a housing need or are homeless. We currently use a points based system to measure housing need and we ask you to tell us about your personal circumstances on an application form. Applicants with the highest number of points will be considered to be in the greatest housing need. Other than people who are ineligible due to their immigration status, the Housing Register is open to any one over the age of 16. Applicants with a local connection will be given reasonable preference.
If you would like to apply to rent a property from us, all you need to do is complete one of our application forms. We have also produced a leaflet 'Information for Housing Applicants'. Both of these are available from our Customer Services Reception at our Ropewalks offices or by contacting Customer Services on Freephone 0800 012 1311. You can also download a copies below.
